Kaiju Realtime Demo

The "Kaiju Demo" is a exploratory proof-of-concept prototype designed to reproduce the types of special effects found in pre-digital giant monster (Kaiju) movies of the 60's, 70's, and 80's.

This initial version of the demo had 3 specific aesthetic/technical goals: film grain, a monster that looked like a guy in a rubber suit, and a composite shot that combined a "live" crowd with soundstage footage of the "monster".

The research from this project laid the foundation for the currently in-development "Kaiju Rampage".
